Stoke Place; take two

“There is no love sincerer than the love of food.”

– George Bernard Shaw

We popped back to one of our favourite restaurants, The Garden Room at Stoke Place, last weekend to sample some of the new dishes on the menu. As always we were so delighted with what was on offer we just had to share it with you! Unfortunately we forgot to snap our palette cleanser and appetiser but trust us, they were delicious. So, on to our starter…

Hay Smoked Pigeon, Sweet Potato, Pistachio Purée, Granny Smith Apple, Liquorice Jus

Main; Sage and Hazelnut Risotto, Girolles Mushrooms, Parmesan Foam

Pre-dessert

Dessert; Bitter Orange Curd, Blood Orange Purée, Chocolate Cake, Remy Martin Sorbet

Strawberry Parfait, Pimms Compressed Cucumber, Orange, Lemon Foam

We finished with a round of Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris.

If you are ever in the area or fancy heading out of London pay Stoke Place a visit. You can follow them on Twitter too @stokeplace

  1. That looks absolutely amazing! If I’m ever down that way I will be going there! The whole lot looks so good!
